*分班说明*

ABC最初级认识字母班: [而且也不容易有开班的机会]
• 完全不认识或仅识英语字母ABC及英文数字
• 无法阅读单词
• 几乎无法开口说任何英语 (e.g., "Hello.")
• 中文为主，英文为辅的结合教学

初级班:
• 已认识英语字母ABC及数字
• 能够说最基本的英语单词或问候语 (e.g., "Hello.", "My name is ________.", "I am from _______.")
• 能够读出一些简单词语 (e.g., ABCs. "My name is Peter Jones. John is my brother. He told me about the English classes.")
• 请特别注意：如果是对英语完全没有接触过的人士，此班进度会对您过于勉强。 (例如初级ABC认字班人士)
• 中文为主，英文为辅的结合教学

初级高班:
• 能够回答基本英语单词问题，也能回应简单英语问候 (e.g., "What is your name?", "What is your telephone number?", "What is your address is _______?", "Where are you from?", "How long have you been here?")
• 能够读出一些基本词语或句子 (e.g., "My name is Peter Jones. John is my brother. He told me about the English classes. I am married. My family lives in Vancouver. My mother lives with us.")
• 中文为主，英文为辅结合教学

中级初班:
• 能够回答一般常用英语问答词语及回应简单问候 (e.g., "What did you eat for dinner last night?", "What did you buy?", "When did you come to Canada?", "How are you feeling?")
• 能够较好掌握基本阅读 (e.g., "Patricia lives in Canada. She lives with her husband and children. She likes to shop in the grocery store. Her family likes fruit, so she buys oranges, apples, bananas, and strawberries. She buys many new things to eat. Her family likes to try Canadian food.")
• 中文为主，英文为辅结合教学

中级高班 / 高级初班:
• 能够回答稍微复杂的问题与句子 (e.g., "If you could choose a job, what job would you choose and why?", "What do you do on your spare time?").
• 能够比较顺畅的阅读 (e.g., I am getting worried about Tom and Betty. I'm afraid something might have happened to them. They should have been home by now. They may have had an accident. But I don't want to jump to conclusions or let my imagination run wild. They are probably just having fun and forgot the time.)
• 全英语教学

高级班:
• 能够回应复杂问题 (e.g., "If your English became perfect, what would happen to your life? Why?")
• 能够与人讨论时事 (e.g., COVID-19)
• 能够顺畅的阅读 (i.e., somewhat able to read newspapers)
• 全英语教学

高级进阶班:
• 能够流利与人进行英语对话
• 能够阅读与讨论英文报纸中的时事 (e.g., Vancouver Sun)
• 能够与人讨论当今流行话题 (e.g., school system, politics, food)
• 全英语教学
